There are also 4 Spots approx. 3 inches in length on the side of the roof where a roof rack was installed by the previous owner.It has left flat spots on the edge. All windows are in excellent condition with no chips or scratches. Mechanically- the 2000cc engine is original and starts and runs as good as ever. There is a new fuel tank sending unit and engine compartment foam seal. Brake master cylinder has also been replaced by a VW dealer. Front disc brakes & rear brakes have been serviced and are power assisted on all four wheels. Original 4-speed manual transmission works perfectly. The van comes with a factory auxiliary heater- it has an interesting FEATURE!!! It can warm up the inside of the BUS without starting the engine, so you can take off in a warm vehicle- set the timer to 10 minutes and you are done. Gas consumption varies according to operating conditions and heat output. Approx. 2 US Pts- 1.7 IMP Pints- 1 litre per Hour. THE HEATER RUNS OFF THE REGULAR GAS TANK!!!
