SOLD: 1976 JAGUAR XJC 2 DOOR COUPE. Stock 4.2 litre 6 cyl engine & auto transmission. US model � in Arizona/New Mexico until early �90s. Imported to British Columbia in early �90s & put into storage. Garage kept since 1995 when purchased by current owner (at 59,660 miles). Used as daily driver from 1995 until 2002, serviced at Jaguars Plus in North Vancouver. Current BC collector plates. A rare model � 1 of 6487 built - one of only a few in the Vancouver area. Dark Blue Metallic - bare metal & chrome-off respray in 1997 by Abingdon Motors. Factory optional Kent alloys with recent Pirelli tires (approved by ICBC). Recent transmission rebuild � 20,000 miles ago. Tan leather interior - whole interior including headliner (except dash) replaced by good original in 1995 (due to original leather being like cardboard!) Air conditioning converted in 2000 but needs refilling. New battery and catalytic converter. Recent new windscreen wiper motor. Recent brakes and radiator rebuild. Fitted with manual choke. Much other work done to bring car up to current condition. New front end, cylinder head and rubber hoses in 1994. Not installed but available: Mounted set of stock steel rims and hubcaps.
