This car was in a barn for 50 years until the current owner, a professional mechanic, restored it to its current condition. These cars were used in a dirt track racing situation back in the early ’50s with the original 4 cylinder engine being converted using the first Ford V8 (the “V60”). This engine has been fitted with aluminum heads, the original iron ones come with the car. All the mechanical on the car has been restored using original period parts. The engine was completely rebuilt, the transmission has been resealed and works like new, the rear axle has also been resealed. The drum brakes have been completely rebuilt with new materials. The car has only traveled 100 miles since the rebuild. It’s fitted with chrome wire rims and brand new tires. The car has brand new headers leading into a completely new exhaust system. This car is an updated piece of motoring history. You will have very few chances to buy a turn-key project like this one. All this history and a beautiful rebuild for only $14,995.00 CDN., or $12,000.00 U.S.
