DESCRIPTION
| SOLD: 1952 MG TD. 1952 MG TD #20381, engine #XPAG-TF35626. This is a good amateur restoration by the owner from a "basket case" over a four year period. The engine was professionally rebuilt. The car has been driven 378 miles since restored and runs and drives very well. Speedometer and tachometer have been rebuilt but because the generator is from a Morris, the necessary gear box is not available to drive the tach cable. Bumpers could use a rechrome. All body parts were stripped, primed and repainted in the original Old English White. Paintwork is presentable but not up to "Concours" standards. Interior is red vinyl (original colour) and top is tan vinyl. All mechanical systems and body parts are either new, rebuilt or have been checked out. |
