June 13-14 Welland Centennial Secondary School Car Show Welland 90 Quaker Road in Welland (The Welland Stadium). The show will run from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 9:00a.m. To 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. This will be a charity event and all proceeds will go to the Distress Center of Niagara and to the Sick Kids Foundation in Toronto. Admission is free to get in. There will be food and drinks for sale. There will be music as well. There will be door prizes for drivers, and a penny sale for anybody interested in buying tickets at the show. There will also be a fully restored golf cart that will be raffled off during the event. The first 50 cars to arrive on Saturday will receive a goodie bag. Jun 27 Rodding for Reading (R4R) Cambridge Accessible, family-friendly classic car and bike show supporting the Literacy Group (TLG), a non-profit local organization. TLG provides accessible literacy training to adults to reach their goals and improve their quality of life. The show attracts nearly 200 vehicles from across southwestern Ontario. It’s a great chance to admire all sorts of vehicles: low riders, hot rods, customs, classics, muscles, tuners, choppers, cruisers, bobbers, hogs, and sport bikes. 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Southworks Outlet Mall in Cambridge. Admission is free to spectators (donation to register a vehicle) so come out and enjoy the vehicles, great food and activities for kids as well as a used book sale, auction, raffle and specials offered by the merchants of Southworks.
