SOLD: 1949 MG TC ROADSTER. Driven everyday, until the right running board and door were damaged during a spin into a fence post at 85000 miles. The car was then completely disassembled for restoration.. All work to date was done by experienced professionals: rebuilt engine,30 over new pistons, clutch and transmission; rebuilt and tested radiator; checked frame alignment; rebuilt spoke wheels (new spokes and nipples); suspension springs re-tempered, greased and wrapped; rolling chassis reassembled with new bushings, wheel bearings and seals, brake cylinders and linings. These assemblies are painted and ready. All installed replacement parts, as well as those needed to complete restoration, are O.E.M. not “after-market”.

The following work remains to be done: The engine and transmission have to be installed in the rolling chassis; all the parts, wood and metal, for the right side are new and supplied with the car – the right side of the body has to be re-assembled with new wood framing, new front and rear quarter panels, new running board, new door outer panel. Then the body has to be painted (it is currently Old English White) and the complete body mounted on the chassis. The seats and seat-back have been recovered (plum red naugahyde), other interior coverings are black. Includes cranking handle, knock-off hammer, tonneau cover etc.
