For sale: a 1952 Bentley MKVI 

This car has been owned for many years by the current owner who is a Bentley MKVI aficionado. He is such an expert on the Marque that he publishes his own magazine that focuses on every aspect of owning the vehicle. It’s time to find a new loving home for the car and with it will come all the car’s records from many years of ownership. The interior has one area on the back seat where a leather panel will require replacement where the stitching has come undone. All the wood veneer trim is in very clean crack free condition. Underneath the instrument cluster is a period correct push button radio. To the left of the radio is the original locked tray with a complete tool kit in it. In the owner’s manual, there’s a brief history of the car indicating that it was delivered new in February of 1952 in Norwich in the United Kingdom. The engine was reconditioned by Bentley Motors in 1961. The engine was again rebuilt in 2003. The engine was further refined by Cheshire Motors in March of 2010 during which time the piston sleeves were bored 10,000 over standard and new JP pistons and rings were installed. The engine in this vehicle truly purrs. The body of the car is clean with very good chrome. A period correct centre spotlight and indicator spotlights are mounted on the front. The owner has explained that he has never got around to getting the trafficators to work.
